Hey guys!
So here’s how this thing works. When you are logged in, you have two options, 1) A short little update/post at the top of the page, much like Twitter, but without the 140 character limit. You can add whatever tag you want to that post. Tags appear in the tag cloud on the right side of the page. Make your tag whatever you want, your character’s name, your location, some random phrase that you think people can’t deny clicking on, and option 2) A more complex post by clicking “new post” in the grey toolbar at the top of the page. This will let you do all the pretty stuff that comes with a wordpress blog, including colors, text sizes, tags AND categories.
The category option is where it gets cool for us. Each coven has a category assigned to it. Over on the right hand side of the page, you can pick the category you want to see. Want to ONLY see what the Volturi have been doing? Pick the Volturi category and ONLY posts that have the Volturi category attached will show.
This site is mainly self moderated. It is exactly what our group wants to make it. Post as much or as little as you like, and post as often as you want. We’d like to see this site used for summaries and synopsis of the activities that are going on in your group with your characters, rather than detailed monologues like you see on our character blogs.
